Although payment is expected at time of service, at La Casa Family Health Center we offer a unique sliding fee scale, so even if you don't have insurance you can be seen at La Casa. After reviewing your annual income we can determine the appropriate payment level. This fee schedule can result in reduced healthcare costs or co-pay. As a courtesy, our billing department will be glad to assist you in setting up a payment plan you are comfortable with. If you would like more information about our sliding fee scale just call one of our clinics for assistance.
Medications:
Having health insurance doesn't necessarily guarantee prescription cost coverage. Today, New Mexicans are spending more out of pocket for their medications. We want to help! La Casa Family Health Center is offering major access to medicines through our pharmacy assistance program. To find out if you qualify, contact us for more information about this program.
Child Assistance:
One out of five children are not covered by any health insurance. We know how important healthcare is in the early stages of life. We support the New MexiKids program to ensure your child is getting proper healthcare to grow strong and healthy. New MexiKids is no cost or low cost health coverage for children under 19 years old. New MexiKids pays for regular check-ups, doctor visits, dental visits, hospital care, prescriptions, glasses and hearing and vision exams. Other services may be covered if they are medically necessary. Our highly trained staff can even help you with the Medicaid insurance application.
