HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
First, schedule an appointment to visit with a Families FIRST Coordinator at (575) 359-3829. During the initial visit, you will complete an application for Medicaid assistance. Meanwhile, you will have presumptive eligibility, meaning you will have full Medicaid benefits until the application is either denied or approved.
Once the coordinator qualifies you for the program you will visit your case manager every trimester to ensure you and your child are doing well and that all your needs are met.
