Ninad Shet, MD Internal Medicine
Dr. Shet started as a primary care physician with La Casa in 2014. He earned his doctorate through Texas Tech University in Internal Medicine. He has spent time volunteering in India through outpatient clinics for OB/GYN as well as polio drives. He is fluent in three languages and part of the American College of Physicians as well as the American Medical Association. Dr. Shet prides himself on providing quality care and enjoys establishing long term relationships with members of the community. In his free time he enjoys reading, listening to music, hiking, and traveling.
Kathy Thatcher, CFNP Family Practice and Women’s Health
Ms. Thatcher graduated from New Mexico State University in 1998 with her BSN. In 2011 she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. She has worked in New Mexico in direct patient care since 1993. Ms. Thatcher specializes in Family Practice and Women’s Health.
Dr. Yangalasetty is a board certified pediatrician who joined La Casa Los Niño’s Pediatric Center, in the summer of 2011 to provide comprehensive care for children (including preventive and acute care services) within the community of Roswell.
He has been a physician since 1992, having graduated from Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India. After having served in India for several years, Dr.Yangalasetty moved to the USA to do his residency training in Pediatrics at Woodhull Medical Center, Brooklyn, affiliated with New York University. He graduated in 2008 and obtained board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in 2010. He worked as a pediatrician and Clinical Asst. Professor of Pediatrics at Altru Health System affiliated to University of North Dakota for two years. Currently he is the Honorary Chief of Pediatrics at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, Roswell.
He loves to take care of children right from the neonates to adolescents; from acute emergencies (acute asthma, seizures) to chronic illnesses (diabetes, obesity, pancreatitis), from sports injuries to minor surgeries, headaches to psychiatric problems, and well child visits to immunizations. He is trained and certified in Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). Dr. Yangalasetty is licensed by the New Mexico Medical Board. He believes in integrated health care and Patient Centered Medical Home. Dr. Yangalasetty believes in keeping children healthy and provides compassionate care with empathy when they are sick. He is multilingual including English and Spanish. He enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He has a pleasant personality and is passionate about providing best quality care to his patients.
Sarah Rose Usher DMD, MPH,
Dr. Usher was born and raised in central New Mexico and is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to all individuals. Dr. Usher graduated from the University of New Mexico and attended A.T.S.U – Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health where she also acquired her Masters in Public Health. Dr. Usher successfully completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at the University of New Mexico Department of Dental Medicine. Dr. Usher enjoys volunteering within the community, exploring new places, and spending time with her husband participating in outdoor activities.
Ana Gomez, Registered Dental Hygienist
Ana is from San Jacinto, California. She went to school at Eastern New Mexico University Roswell were she received an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degree. Ana has been practicing since 2013 and absolutely enjoys building professional relationships with her patients. She has special interest in periodontal health, as well as working with kids. Ana considers the comfort and health of her patients as her first priority. In her spare time Ana enjoys traveling, crafts, skiing, swimming, and spending time with her large family, her husband Steven, daughter Roxanna, and puppy Minni.
