Using Wraparound values, principles and practices, the Wraparound Facilitator provides intensive, supportive interventions for identified families. Such interventions include running team meetings, coordinating care with other agencies, developing and utilizing informal/formal supports, identifying and making use of family strengths, etc. The goal of NM Wraparound CARES is to help the youth and family realize their vision and increase their autonomy from formal systems.
The Wraparound facilitator should have the following essential skills: Engagement skills, Planning skills, Implementation Skills, Transition Skills and other Essential Skills to develop trust and respect with all members of the team. The Wraparound Facilitator will be required to complete “Foundations of Wraparound Practice” training.
Education & Experience Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in social work or other related discipline, experience in providing direct family services and at least two years’ prior experience working in the behavioral health field. This position is full time and can have traditional hours of Monday – Friday, 8AM to 5PM, however at times it will require the worker to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the youth and family.
